I’ve always had an insatiable desire to create food – with the sole intention of sharing it with others. When I started baking chocolate chip cookies many years ago, I used recipes found on the back of random chocolate chip bags – sharing them with friends and family, observing reactions, taking mental notes and partaking in conversations with myself on how to satisfy the post pig-out, sweet tooth craving. Every new batch called for an improvised recipe tweak, using an extra pinch of this and a heaping teaspoon of that – eventually leading to my expression of cookie perfection.
Inevitably, my creative process evolved into a platform for introducing ethically conscious ingredients while exploring earth-friendly packaging options. As a result, Jeanette’s Cookies is committed to using high quality ingredients – like GMO free flour, organic eggs and GMO & aluminum-free baking powder. Our packaging is sourced using sustainable forestry principles and is certified biodegradable & compostable.
